Minecraft vs Nature (Grades 3-5)

Saturday, September 20

1 - 3 pm

$45 per student

Limited to 12 students.

Spend the afternoon diving into the world of Minecraft while discovering the real-life nature that inspires it! We'll take a hike to explore the different biomes found right here on our property and compare them to those in the game. Back at the Nature Center, we'll get creative with a pixel art craft and meet some resident animals that resemble your favorite Minecraft creatures!

Nature Craftin' on the Weekend (Grades 3-6)

Saturday, September 27 and Saturday, October 25

1 - 3 pm

$45 per student per session

Limited to 12 students.

Do you like animals and art? Join us for this Saturday program where we'll meet one of our resident animals and create a super cool art project inspired by that animal! Each time we run this program, we'll meet a different animal and complete a different craft, so feel free to participate in one or both sessions.

Nighttime Wonders: Owl Prowl (Grades 3-6)

Friday, October 10

6 - 8 pm

$45 per student

Limited to 12 students.

Join us for a special evening adventure as we explore the woods at night and learn about native owls. During our guided hike, we’ll listen for their unique calls—and if we’re lucky, some wild owls may even respond to our recorded ones! After the hike, we’ll gather around the campfire for games, s’mores, and cozy fun before heading home.

Shelter Builders (Grades 3-6)

Saturday, October 18

1 - 3 pm

$45 per student

Limited to 12 students.

Love hands-on activities in nature? In this fun and active program, we'll learn how to build shelters using natural materials found outdoors. We'll gather what we need, choose the perfect spot, and work together to construct temporary shelters designed to protect against the elements. The best part? Students will get to test their creations by climbing inside while our educators pour water over the roof to see how well they hold up!

Halloween Creature Feature & Trail of Treats (Grades 3-5)

Friday, October 24

6 - 8 pm

$45 per student

Limited to 12 students.

Join us for some Halloween themed fun in nature! We'll meet one of our ambassador animals and then follow clues on a very special treasure hunt. With any luck, the clues will lead us to different spots on our trails with hidden troves of Halloween treats! Come wearing your costume to impress all the charismatic creatures of the night!
