Single Day Enrichment Programs
Spring 2024
Swamp Explorer Saturday
Grades 3-5
In this drop-off program we will take scooping equipment out to one of our boardwalks and to our vernal pools and see what we can find living in the waters of our wetlands! We'll be looking for Caddisfly Larvae, Dragonfly Larvae, Diving Beetles, Newts, Tadpoles, and more! Afterwards we'll return to the nature center to meet one or more of our animals.
Saturday, March 30th 1:00 - 3:00 pm
$45 per student (single class)

Limit of 12 students.
Amphibians After Dark
Grades 3-5
Come and experience Woodcock Nature Center after dark in this special drop-off program! Educators will lead students on a night hike to discover local amphibian species. We'll listen and look for frogs by our vernal pools, and search for salamanders underneath logs and on the forest floor! Upon returning from our hike we will gather around a campfire and make s’mores before heading home.
Friday, March 29th from 6:30 - 8:30 pm
$45 per student (single class)
