Camp runs June 15 - August 14

Nestlings

Ages 3 and early 4

9 am-1 pm; $315/week


This introduction to summer camp offers different topics each day with live animals, nature walks, crafts, games, and story time. Registration is per day; come for any or all days! Groups will be limited to 8 campers with 2 counselors and additional programming from senior staff. Due to the small group size, space is very limited.Campers must turn 3 at least one month prior to the start of your camp week.

 

This is a drop off program, and campers need to bring a NUT-FREE snack and lunch, water bottle, change of clothes and be dressed to be outside each day, rain or shine. Nestlings are not eligible for the optional camp out.

Nestlings is offered the weeks of June 15-19, June 22-26, July 13-17 & August 3-7. Nestlings are not eligible for campouts


*Campers must be fully potty trained and able to use the bathroom independently.*

Fledglings

PreK - Kindergarten
9 am-1 pm; $305/week

Our Fledglings camp promises a different nature theme each day. From Forest Friends to Turtle Power, each day is filled with live animals, arts and crafts, hikes, games, and other age specific activities focusing on the theme of the day. This half day program is for eligible 4's (campers must turn 4 by start of your desired camp week) and children entering Kindergarten in Fall 2020.

Half day campers should come with a NUT-FREE snack and lunch, re-usable water bottle, a change of clothes and be dressed to be outside each day, rain or shine.

Fledglings is offered every week June 15-August 14 (no camp June 29-July 3). Optional campouts are available the weeks of June 15-19, July 6-10, July 20-24 & August 3-7.

Scouts

Grades 1 - 2
9:30 am-3 pm; $386/week

Our full day Scouts will investigate nature themes through woodland expeditions, stream exploration, scavenger hunts, obstacle courses, wilderness games, live animals, and nature art! Children will be introduced to forest and pond habitats, food chains, local plants and animals, and animal defenses. Some themes include Animal Architects, Dirt Detectives, Spidey Senses, and Awesome Arthropods.

 

Campers should come each day dressed to be outside, rain or shine, with a change of clothes, a lunch bag that includes an ice pack, a NUT-FREE snack and lunch and a reusable water bottle.

Scouts
 is offered every week June 15-August 14 (no camp June 29-July 3). Optional campouts are available the weeks of June 15-19, July 6-10, July 20-24 & August 3-7.

Rangers

Grades 3 - 4

9:30 am-3 pm; $386/week

Campers will use waders to explore the wetlands and streams, look for turtles while canoeing on the pond, build forts in the forest, traverse the woodland obstacle course, play team games, and get a chance to handle our resident animals, all while gaining a deeper understanding of the ecology of our preserve. 

Campers should come each day dressed to be outside, rain or shine, with a change of clothes, a lunch bag that includes an ice pack, a NUT-FREE snack and lunch and a reusable water bottle.

Rangers
 is offered every week June 15-August 14 (no camp June 29-July 3). Optional campouts are available the weeks of June 15-19, July 6-10, July 20-24 & August 3-7.

Explorers

Grades 5 - 6

9:30 am-3 pm; $386/week

A typical camp week includes wildlife tracking and trail cameras, fire building and campfire cooking, lashing and nature construction, terrarium design, as well as handling and even feeding of our resident animals. Plus wading and canoeing, all while fostering a better relationship with the environment. 

Campers should come each day dressed to be outside, rain or shine, with a change of clothes, a lunch bag that includes an ice pack, a NUT-FREE snack and lunch and a reusable water bottle.

Explorers
 is offered the weeks of June 22-26 through August 10-14 (no camp June 29-July 3). Optional campouts are available the weeks of July 6-10, July 20-24 & August 3-7.

 

Summer Uncharted

Grades 7 - 8

9:30 am-3 pm; $390/week
 

With 150-acres as our only limit, we’ll wade, hike and explore our way through each week. Be prepared to ditch your trail map and venture into our swamp! Use tracking techniques to look for wildlife beyond our trails; our discoveries will be our guide. Learn natural navigation, whittling, and use a bow drill to create fire. Get ready for an unforgettable summer outdoor adventure!

Summer Uncharted is offered the weeks of
July 20-24, July 27-31 and August 10-14. An optional campout is available the week of July 20-24.
