School's Out, Nature's In: 
Election Day

Many things have changed for Fall. *

School's out for Election Day, but the woods are open! Campers will explore the trails, meet our resident animals, and vote for Animal President of the Nature Center!

We go out in the drizzle and rain. Dress for the weather and pack rain gear (boots, raincoat). Pack a change of clothes in case we get muddy or wet. 

K - 2nd Grade (12 Children) - FULL!

3rd - 5th Grade (12 Children) - FULL!

9:00 am - 3:00 pm,


Pack a nut free snack and lunch and a reusable water bottle.

Also bring a full change of clothes. Dress for the weather!


*Registration is required and fees are not refundable.

Registration ends at 1pm October 29


What to Bring: Mask, nut-free snack and lunch, reusable water bottle, change of clothes. 

Masks: WNC requires masks to be won in certain circumstances (going indoors to use bathrooms, sheltering indoors, first aid scenarios, activities where participants will be in close proximity for extended periods of time).​


*Medication: If your child has an allergy that requires an Epi pen, inhaler, or other medication that may need to be administered at WNC, a health form and administration of medication approval form will be required.
