About the Contest
This spring, Woodcock Nature Center is running a friendly photography contest with the goal of bringing photographers of all ages together and helping them share their work!
The contest and the gathering are being held as part of a capstone project by 8th grade student and photography lover Owen Dunleavy.
The theme of the contest is "Nature in Spring", and you can enter photos into three different categories - landscapes, closeups, and animals.
Submissions will be open through Wednesday May 3rd at 5pm. After submissions close, a period of online voting will take place between May 4th and 15th.
About Owen's Capstone Project

My name is Owen Dunleavy and for my 8th grade Capstone Project I am running a photo contest to raise money for Woodcock Nature Center and to encourage people to get out in nature and take photos. So get your camera and head outside! For some tips on camera and nature photography basics, have fun viewing these videos I created as part of my project!
