A connection to nature plays a crucial role in a child's development. Into the Forest brings children (and their caregivers) into nature to help build confidence, obtain basic wilderness skills and most importantly, allow them to get dirty and have fun! Some activities may include:

  • Explore the forest

  • Learn about trees, plants and mushrooms

  • Make a walking stick from scratch

  • Build a fire and cook over it

  • Learn to build a shelter

  • Climb trees and boulders

  • Learn tracking & scat

  •  Use our creativity to plan and build our own fort
