Due to COVID-19 precautions, Woodcock Nature Center's
offices and nature center building remain closed to the public.
Our Trails Remain Open Dawn to Dusk
Please note these important reminders...
Maintain social distancing on the trails. Visit early or later in the day to avoid the busiest hiking times. Step to the side when encountering others or pick a different trail head if one appears busy. For the health and safety of our visitors and program attendees, please remember to wear a protective face covering.
Stay on the marked trails and do not disturb plants or wildlife.
Dogs must be on a leash at all times. Many people, especially children, are frightened by dogs, even small ones.
We have a carry-in/carry-out policy. Please take your trash with you (including pet waste!)
We regret that there are no restroom facilities available at this time.
Winter use. During the Winter months hiking, snowshoeing and cross country skiing are welcome. Ice skating is not permitted, please keep off the ice. Please do not attempt our driveway or parking if we have not yet been plowed.

Woodcock Nature Center does not receive support from local towns, government or state entities to maintain its grounds or run its many public programs. Programs and event cancellations due to the pandemic have impacted our organization. Your generous support during this time is especially meaningful.
