School's Out, Nature's In: 

Columbus Day

Many things have changed for Fall. *

School's out for Columbus Day, but the woods are open! Campers will meet our resident animals, explore the trails, and learn what's happening in the woods and wetlands in Autumn.

 

We go out in the drizzle and rain. Dress for the weather and pack rain gear (boots, raincoat). Pack a change of clothes in case we get muddy or wet. 

K - 2nd Grade (2 Groups; 8 Children each)

3rd - 5th Grade (1 Group; 8 Children)

9:00 am - 3:00 pm,

$75, pack a nut free snack and lunch and a reusable water bottle.

 

*Registration is required and fees are not refundable.

Registration ends at 1pm October 9

 

*If your child has an allergy that requires an Epi pen, inhaler, or other medication that may need to be administered at WNC, a health form and administration of medication approval form will be required. 

Masks and physical distancing are required of all children attending this program and of adults handling drop off and pick up.

An activity and COVID waiver are required and must be completed and submitted for each child. The two-page waiver can be found here. You may scan/email to wnc@woodcocknaturecenter.org in advance of the program.
